The Emergency Response Team from the Butler County Sheriff’s Office has been training this week on grain entrapment scenarios.

The group has been working with the Ohio Fire Academy, which supplied equipment to simulate those situations and helped with the training. The team hopes to be prepared for helping farmers who get trapped in grain bins.

There were four other groups training, including the Northern Kentucky Technical Rescue Team, Butler County Technical Rescue Team, Moraine Fire Department and Alexandria Fire Department.
